The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance usage here of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
